Term 3, 2010Week 4, 2010
This week we welcome Mr Aaron Ellis to Room 1. Mr Ellis is a Y2 Teacher College student and he will be spending 6 weeks in Room 1 working with us. It will greatly benefit the students having another teacher in with us. I am sure you will all make him feel welcome at Whatawhata School.
Week 5, 2010
This week we are having Chris O'Meghan an Orthopedic surgeon in to talk to us about his profession as well as Karen O'Meghan who is a Physiotherapist. They will tell us how these two careers interlink and the children will be able to ask questions.
On Thursday a Y5-Y6 team will be going to Raglan to take part in the Te Mata Football Tournament - a big Thank You to the parents who are supporting this venture.
Week 6, 2010
Visitor this week is Lorraine Wiki, a jockey. Room 1's Y5-Y6 team did very well in Raglan last week. They won all their games - CONGRATULATIONS. This week on Thursday is room 1's Disco for Camp Fundraising, please support us. Week 7, 2010 Tiana & Teri with Mandy after their makeover.
This week we are finalising our details for market day next week. Our disco last week was a success. You can all be proud of all your wonderful childrens behaviour. Have a look at Disco photos
This week we also had Mandy , Mrs Benns daughter come in to tell us about hairdressing.

Three more weeks to go!! Parent Interviews this week, this is a really important part of your children's learning. Also this week we have a Zoo keeper coming to talk to us on Tuesday about their work. MARKET DAY THIS WEDNESDAY 12.00-2.30PM. PLEASE SUPPORT ROOM 1 IN THEIR FUND RAISING VENTURE FOR CAMP 2011
